Job Description:
- Initiating contact with potential guests at tourist “hotspots”
- Engage potential guests in conversation about the NY SKYRIDE
- Finalizing sales of NY SKYRIDE tickets
Successful candidates will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Outgoing personality and positive attitude
- A team player orientation but also able to work efficiently and effectively independently.
- High School Diploma and some college education is preferred OR equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of tourism industry /NYC a plus

2. SALES ASSOCIATE
NY SKYRIDE is seeking ENERGETIC, CHARISMATIC, GOAL-DRIVEN individuals to become part of our successful team. This is a great opportunity to earn excellent income and have fun! NY SKYRIDE is a popular NYC tourist attraction in the Empire State Building. In this position you will initiate contact with potential guests, promote the NY SKYRIDE experience, and close the sale of tickets to the experience.
Successful candidates will have a competitive spirit and continually strive vigorously towards meeting and exceeding sales goals. You must be a team player and be able to work effectively alone as well. Candidates must be well spoken and able to speak English fluently (multi-lingual individuals are welcomed).
This fantastic role pays a competitive hourly base salary plus commissions on ticket sales!!
There are no split shifts; therefore you must be able to work all days/evenings within a particular shift. Please review the shifts below and indicate in order of preference which shift you prefer when applying.
SHIFT A: Sunday through Wednesday (days): 7:45am – 4:00pm & every other Thursday (day): 7:45am – 4:00pm.
SHIFT B: Tuesday through Saturday (evenings): 4:00pm – closing (10pm – 12am)
SHIFT C: Sunday and Monday (evenings): 4:00pm – closing (10pm – 12am). Every other Thursday (day): 7:45am – 4:00pm. Friday and Saturday (days): 7:45am – 4:00pm.

3. SHIFT SUPERVISOR
NY SKYRIDE, a popular NYC tourist attraction (www.nyskyride.com) located inside the most amazing building in the world, the Empire State Building, is seeking an outgoing, energetic, and well-spoken Shift Supervisor. We are looking for a motivator, a leader, and a team player with outstanding communication skills who enjoys a fast pace. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: effectively & efficiently overseeing daily operations, staff support & scheduling, creating daily reports, increasing sales while controlling costs, ensuring guest satisfaction.
The potential candidate must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, be goal-oriented, and very organized. Other requirements include at least an Associate’s Degree or experience equivalent is necessary. The candidate must be able to work various shifts (including evenings & weekends) and have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Starting salary is $27,500 plus bonuses. NY SKYRIDE also offers a benefits package including medical, dental, and paid time off.
